Kevin works with nonprofits and social enterprises with Twilio.org, advising organizations on the effective use of tech generally and Twilio in particular. While Kevin dabbles in a variety of programming languages and platforms, JavaScript remains his favorite. Before joining Twilio, Kevin worked for Appcelerator, helping launch and build a community around their JavaScript-based cross-platform mobile app framework, Titanium. He also founded JavaScriptMN, one of Minnesota's largest and most active technical user groups.

Kevin and the Whinnery clan live just outside the Twin Cities of Minneapolis and Saint Paul.
